I was on Millbank by Tate Britain a couple of weeks back and was commenting with a friend just how bland and overpriced those apartments looked from the other side of the river...
We also commented on how the windows that opened were within another bigger pane of fixed glass and looked like they might be high maintenance...I didn't realize that it would be a premonition...of sorts

Its no consultation but after a HSE investigation there could well be corporate manslaughter charge for someone also the company will be fined massively and the family will get a big pay out.

Fuck his luck. Poor family.
I once felt a coconut gently brush my shoulder as it fell from above. It bounced up from the ground and I caught it in both hands just above waist height. That was close.
Pretty sure falling coocnuts are the no.1 cause of death in a fair few places in asia.

I think exactly the same thing happened on city Road last Wednesday (didn't hit anyone that time though). I walked past a luxury flat building site with all the workers out, the next road cordoned off by police and glass being cleaned up everywhere. Wondered at the time of one of the new panes had fallen out. Just opposite the eye hospital.
